Allison Keeport

Operations Manager - Music and Media Arts Field | Adjunct Voice Instructor

Allison Keeport is a singer and voice teacher based in Chicago, Illinois. She holds a BMus in sacred music from the Moody Bible Institute. After completing her degree at Moody in 2010, she moved to Budapest, Hungary, where she served at the International Christian School of Budapest as their elementary music and middle school choir and drama instructor. It was there that she discovered a passion for Christian education in general and arts education in particular. Upon returning to Chicago in 2014, she began working in higher education administration in the MBI admissions department. It was a season of discovering a talent not only for music and creativity, but also for organization and development. In 2020, she completed a Master’s degree in vocal performance from North Park University. In 2022, she started full-time with the Music and Media Arts field. By day, she now manages the operations for the MMA field. She also considers it a great privilege to serve on the faculty of Moody Bible Institute, where she has taught theology of worship, the music of the church, music history, and applied voice. When she is not in a classroom, studio, or otherwise wrangling the business affairs of the division, you can usually find her writing her own songs, cooking, reading, or doing something related to her church, Immanuel Anglican. She lives on the North side of Chicago with her houseplants, all of whom are named after famous operatic sopranos.
